Transcribing, Translating and Interpreting (Portuguese-English-Spanish)

Jen works as a translator and interpreter for individuals and businesses in the travel, academic, and entertainment industries in the U.S. and Brazil. Her translations appear on outlets and publications such as HBO, Vice, National Geographic, Huffington Post, and N.A.C.L.A.

Jen is a certified member of the United States National Language Service Corps.

Jen has also worked extensively in post-production, translating, transcribing and subtitling for Vice, Google Video, and for acclaimed activist filmmakers such as Mary Olive Smith (Flying Pup Productions.), Iara Lee (Caipirinha Productions.), and Rory Kennedy (Moxie Firecracker Films).

Writing, Editing, Ghostwriting and Consulting

An avid reader and writer since childhood, Jen majored in English at Wesleyan University (2001). Since then she has freelanced in publishing, ghostwriting, copywriting and editing.

As Sounds Director of Epitome art music & lifestyle "goddess journal," Jen has contributed write-ups on sophisticated new fusion and underground styles, available on their SOUNDS page.
